Hi, I’m Erika — a 25-year-old teacher living in Kyoto, Japan. I love slow mornings, the smell of tea (yes, I am a tea girly), and the feeling of sunlight spilling across my desk as I write about everyday life. I’m a wanderer, a dreamer, and most of all, a believer of Christ.

BubbleBabble began because, well… I love to babble. I’ve always been a little chatty and a little bubbly, and this space felt like the perfect place to pour out those thoughts — the quiet ones, the funny ones, and the faith-filled ones that remind me how beautiful life can be, even in small moments.
Here, you’ll find reflections on faith, book and TV recommendations, and glimpses into life as a Christian girl learning to grow, rest, and find joy in ordinary days. I believe in the Bible and in the gentle way God speaks through the everyday — through laughter, kindness, and even the tiny bubbles of joy that rise when we share our hearts with others.
My hope is that BubbleBabble feels like a cozy penpal letter — a place where you can pause, breathe, and feel seen. Whether you’re here for a dose of encouragement, a book to curl up with, or just a quiet reminder that you’re not alone, I’m so happy you’re here.
Let’s wander, grow, and babble together. 🫧
With love,
